Cracking bit of kit
When the postie handed me the package I thought…no way!, these can’t be the overpants as they were lighter than I imagined , Then when I pulled them out .. I was impressed with the quality workmanship but again had my doubts on whether they’d be truly wind and waterproof when getting smashed by salt spray in the boat….. well….. now I just think…. “ What a cracking bit of kit!” Love-em!

Comfortable, but lacking lower leg zippers
For the most part I really like these pants. They're comfortable and work well for keeping me dry.
I was really hoping I could make do without the lower leg zippers but its a real drag. That said, given how comfortable they are I dont really mind just wearing the pants all day.
The chest pocket is good, but surprisingly deep which sometimes makes it hard to get my phone back out.
And the buckle placement (in the middle of the back) is annoying when driving a vehicle or sitting with your back against any kind of back rest.
but, if those things dont seem like they'd be an issue for you I'd recommend these pants!

Dairy farm approved
They arrived the day before a wicked storm hit the south, I was a bit nervous the first time putting them on, they felt so light and I was convinced they wouldn't survive. I transferred my usual gear to the large pocket accessed from the sides, fence tester, tag pen,1 calving book, knife, and then I went to put phone and second Calving book in the top pocket thinking it was separate and it all disappeared into the obis of one giant pocket, but I can deal with that. Then the rain started, not just rain.. biblical sink the ark rain. The day consisted of problem after problem and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get out of the rain. By the time I got home that night, peeled my wet weather gear off and melted into the couch it took a while to realize that I was dry, I didn't have to go get changed. the bibs had breathed and stopped the swampy feeling ya get after hard going and I had been comfortable wearing them all day. Now.. separate occasion, blowing a gale but not raining, followed some cows to their paddock and needed a pee, I had a giggle and thought I have waterproof bibs with a zipper so I can pee in the wind! Thinking I'm a fully protected genius I let it flow... if you try this, keep your mouth closed and wear gloves. The only trouble I've had with the bibs so far is that the bottom of the legs sit under the back of my boots and are completely shredded, just a wee bit of shaping there to stop that and you have the greatest bibs I've ever seen. From the crops to…
